Singaporean Night
Wahahaha! last night was ultra fun! i finally learn how to cook a dish called double bake cheese lemon flavoured fish! yumyum and mr ZQ's Ba ku teh and Sambal Fried rice was outrageous! haha! i called some singaporeans down to my house. It was super squeezy, but really alot of fun! We talked about Singaporean issues, ate together and discussed about next week's national day. It was like a mini caregroup, where everyone gathered to share their life. I cant wait to get my own caregroup to come to my house and eat together. We are planning a national day get together, ZQ thinking of cooking crab, i am thinking of cooking curry!
When i first came to Melbourne, I felt so lonely. Even in a crowd, when alone at home. Now i am secure in the Lord, and i find that being alone or being with people, i felt that the loneliness had disappeared. God had blessed me tremendously with great friends around me. Whether singaporean, from china, malaysia, vietnam, australia, friends see beyond race.
Talking to Berry last night, encouraging her and she encouraging me! Really know that God had put us together as friends, it is his plan. I am just as amazed at how God place us together and to build each other up. She is in Shanghai now, and i know she is in a tough situation, but i also see how her faith in God increase and she is truly growing as she see her weakness and her strengths as well. I cant wait to go to Shanghai to see her and to serve with her in china. As i was talking to her, i was thinking about my life plans as well. How can i live a life that honors God truly and to be a blessing to other people as well! one life to live... not going to miss it
I realise that being a christian is truly exciting. It is not that you cant have fun! who says? i think as i serve God, i really enjoy being around the people, being tolerant, being a blessing to them in a way that i know how. I can do anything i want for God, with God... difference is that i have a god together with me.. enjoying my life. WHo says christians are boring people who just follow rules? i beg to differ!
