QT: Reading Philippians 1 and 2

1: 9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ Jesus.
Abounds - To be filled up, to occur many times.
Real love requires grow and maturation, Real love is practical. Christian love is not mere feelings, but it is rooted in knowledge and understanding.


1: 27-28 ... I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel, without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed but that you will be saved - and that from God.
Do not be afraid standing up for the truth in love.


2: 1-2 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
Unity: To work together and serve one another - the attitude of Christ
