Bible Reading: Joshua 2-11 And a verse hit me the most, Joshua 8:34-35 Joshua was a general and not a priest but yet he knew the entire Word of God at that time and he taught everything down to the people. I learn that the Word of God is important and i want to build more of it in my life. Enjoying and indulging in the word of God. Oh how much i really yearn for it!

Prayed: Covenant relationships, living a life that is living for the audience of one, to no longer live a life that just want to prove myself to people.

Exercise: None! OMG!

What i did today: Packed letters, met Kristin for lunch and we talked quite a bit, bought a new study bible, Met Dat and talked about her family moving house, studied abit, went for times of refreshing, went to celebrate Jenny's Bday

Times of refreshing hit me alot yesterday. We learn about recognising and living out our identity in Christ. I really felt really good after the lesson. I knew i only want to seek God more. Jasmine said one my greatest treasures i had was my friends, that is true, but God is my first. God surrendered his whole life willingly to us, how about myself? The fruits of being rooted in christ is two things: 1. we are contented in every circumstance and 2. Thankfulness just overflows. Question i ask myself is am i secure in God. Recently jasmine gave me 3 options when i go back. 1. youthdna 2. twam 3. young adults. I felt i was abit insecure because i kept thinking that this are just support roles that i am going in but no longer in student pastoral because i really want to make an impact in the students but i keep thinking my leaders do not see that i am capable to. But i learn that every role is important in God's sight and that we just need to serve to the best. SOme of us may go to pastoral roles, while some support, but all of us are important to build the KOG. I am still praying over it, but i really want to do something according to God's direction.

I have been reading 1st Samuel, 2nd Samuel, 1st Corinthians, Joshua and i see how God directly speaks to Joshua, David and Paul and i eagerly desire to see God speak to me. Wah.. really want to consistent manz! I cannot believe after so long in Christ, i still struggle to read bible at times. Must change! God's word 1st. Thanks to Stefan, Elis and Pastor Mark's life and teaching who have really inspire me to seek the Word more in my life. I have personally learn alot from many 'Living Words' in my life. Seeing the leaders and members living out the teachings of the bible have been very encouraging...

My dream is to see the church united before CHrist come back. SOmetimes when i see what is happening in the world, and the problems we faced both in the world and the challenges to build the church, it can be discouraging, but i really hold fast to see the church that God will build. I know one day we might not be able to gather in the church and that is the reason why we must build the church which are people to be strong! oh God... we need your power.

GOd really challenged me whether i would serve him hard when i have nothing left around me, like when God took away many things from Job. WOuld i still serve him? especially friends. Things i cannot give up for God are the things that will stumble my walk. Learning to let go and live for him. Some of the thinkings i have...

Cheers,
Pearline
