Last night, i went to watch Spiderman 3 with my singaporean friends. It was nice with all the action-packed stuff, but what touched me the most was that even Spiderman was a human with problems in life. No superpower can keep us away from the sin that lives in us or protects us from the hurts of the world. Earlier, we were talking about how bad emotions were created: guilty, grief and grudges. Everything was showed exactly in the show.

i learn an important thing that: Clear Understanding and fully accepting it, and then forgiving can lead to a lighter heart that results in actions. There were many things in the show that taught me that through:
- Peter Parker's misunderstandings with his girlfriend and his girlfriend misunderstood him.
- how his best friend who turned to become his enemy because of a misunderstanding that he taught Peter Parker killed his father, and kept insisting it because he saw Spiderman carried his father's dead body into the room. He bore the hatred deeply in his heart and plotted the death of his friend till one day the butler told him that it was true that his father had actually killed himself and not Spiderman. It just send a new revelation to him, and he could forgive and let go totally of the anger that had kept hidden for so long. The friendship bond was restored and at the end, he chose to sacrifice his life for his friend.
- Peter Parker was so angry with his killer till he realise the actual reason why the killer reacted the way he did to his uncle but before that he held a very heavy grudge towards him. When it was explained to him, Peter Parker fully understood and forgave him. It wasnt so hard afterall.

True Understanding ---> True Acceptance ---> True Forgiveness ---> Ligher Heart with Love

Sometimes we got to take time to listen and understand the whole picture. Sometimes we are so busy to listen and the refusal to understand leads to confusion, anxiety, hatred, bitterness, sadness, guiltiness and revenge. In doing so, we just took one piece of the jigsaw puzzle and assume the many other pieces then the picture then becomes distorted.

I need to talk to my friend. I have seen everyone's point of view but not him/her. Disappointment had kept me away and the helplessness... but in it i shall pray and courage to speak up.

Sincerely
Pearline
